so how much does it cost to keep dai dassou up and why was it dead for three months?

dai dassou's monthly bills:
hosting: $10/month
magazines: $8.50 USD x 3 (standard three, not including special buys like tv guide)
shipping: $42
total: $72.50 a month

finacially, this site does not benefit me one bit. its more of a finacial and coding burden (the process taken from scanning to site gallery is really tiresome) then an actual surplus for me, so I had to stop for three months because it was putting me in the hole rather than benefitting. Magazines are more like a special treat for me rather than a need, so I had to cut back on purchases. As long as I'm a broke college student, I doubt I will continously buy magazines the way I used to unless I get a steady job or win the lotto.

scans for may will be belatedly added to the site because of amazon shipping out my magazines with puzzle.

i've also officially blocked all users from japan to this website. this mostly due to a) protect me and this site from crazy jyaniiwota and lawyers and b) they live in japan already so wtf are they doing on this website. japanese users make up about 10% of this site's total hits so its not a big loss. singapore, philipines, and the u.s. make up majority of all the site hits.
