少年陰陽師第２話　- Shounen Onmyouji Episode 2

Yes, I forgot to review episode one.

Masahiro and his dad take a trip to the palace in which Masahiro is sent to stay there a bit as the resident Onymouji in place of his grandfather, the Great Abe no Seimei.

– Masahiro’s dad explains to him that they’re going to palace to see the head (he’s not the emperor, I know that)
– Masahiro’s little pet demon guardian fox thing (I keep forgetting it’s name) decides to antagonize Masahiro by acting a fool
– Masahiro keeps scolding him but forgets that no one can see the little guy except for him, which causes some troubles and awkward moments for him
– Masahiro is now staying at the palace as the resident Onmyouji.
– Masahiro meets Yukinari and has a discussion with this guy, his little demon pet decides to play tricks causing Masahiro to look stupid.
– Masahiro then walks around some more and runs into the princess of the palace, by accident, because his demon pet sensed an evil spirit lurking in that area. Masahiro can’t sense anything and his little demon pet blows it off.
– The princess askes ” What are the two of you doing here? ” and Masahiro realizes that she can see his little pet.
– They bond, somewhat, and Masahiro is teased by his pet that he may have a crush on her.
– Fast forward a bit (I think I got some events switched, whatever), Masahiro hears a noise and sees something burning and his pet realizes it may be the demon. Masahiro does some magic too see what it is and rushes over.
– Yukinari tells him there’s nothing going on but Masahiro goes anyway
– A demon is attacking the princess and his pet and Masahiro save the day
– The princess thanks Masahiro for saving her and tells him that her name is Akiko. Her father and Yukinari arrive and she tells him that Masahiro saved her from a demon. They congratulate him and stuff
– On the way back home, Akiko sends Masahiro a little gift in gratitude and his pet mocks him some more.

 This episode was boring. Just like the last episode. I was falling asleep, that’s why that ep summary may be off and stuff. All Masahiro did was run around the palace and do errands and then we had a 5 minute fight scene (his little demon thing was mildly amusing when he was running around in front of people going ” YOU CAN’T SEE ME. YOU CAN’T SEE ME. “). Augh. Boring ._.
