ROMES – Airport Security System – Trailer
So, ironically enough, as I was wondering when the Fall season drama previews were going to air; ROMES – Airport Security System – pops up in the Kanjani8 communities and the fangirls flocked to them like ants to sugar. Of course the general opinion is that Ohkura is ‘kakkoi’ and Yasu ‘needs to do something with that hair its not cute’.
Right.
Anyway, my opinion on this little 3-minute sneak peek was a tad bit different than the average fangirl.
Within those three minutes, ROMES proved to me that Ohkura still can’t act. So at least I don’t have to expect anything from that department on October 15th. Watching him act is like watching a car crash, it’s so bad you can’t help but to watch it happen and then you talk about how bad it was after the fact. It’s a sad reality, but its true, and anyone who tries to doubt me on this need to take off their fangirl glasses. Unless, of course, they enjoy cruel and unusual punishment – then there’s really nothing that could be said. It doesn’t look like our heroine is much of an actress either… Disappointing.
The drama comes off a bit campy and retro, despite being focused around a state of the art security system. With the zoom close ups on facial reactions, terrorists, hostages, etc… It definitely screams NHK. lol.
Anyway, I’m still going to watch ROMES. You can’t make much of an opinion on the series itself until you’ve watched an episode so I’ll hold out my cynicism until then. Also, I’m a huge nerd for commercial aviation… like you won’t believe how much I love airports and airplanes so that’s also pulling me closer to watching this. Good Luck! is like my #1 drama. Ever.
