So, just going to write a quick post on this.
Ouran High School Host Club is good. If you’re a fan of the series, its amazing, and if you’re not it’s entertaining. What makes this adaptation amazing is the attention to detail from the source material. Everything from clothing to actual physical scenes sometimes mirror the black and white pages of the manga. In episode 5 with Renge flying off to Japan or in episode 7 when Ranka-san sends Tamaki flying across the apartment. I absolutely love Yamamoto Yusuke as Tamaki and the pick for Haruhi is great as well.
The cast entirely has fell into their roles seamlessly, putting all doubt, initially felt, aside.
Now my only concern is how they’re going to finish this show. It’s episodic, like the first five volumes of the manga, but will they ever dive into the storyline that becomes ” Ouran ” or will it merely be a carbon copy of the parody that is ” Ouran “.
