You might be wondering, ” Where’s Merky? Why hasn’t she updated this blog? ”
Well, it’s because it’s be a whirlwind these past four months. I was doing my final project for college and that zapped all my time. I managed to complete my final and ended up graduating in March with my bachelors. Whoo!
But in between all of that, I was also applying for the JET Program, the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, where the Japanese government selects college grads to teach English in Japan for a few years. I made it to the interview, did it, then I found out a few days ago that I was shortlisted!

😀 Oh yeahhh.
So because I’ve now been shortlisted, I have a lot of crap to do. Paperwork to fill out, things to pack, people to meet, places to go, meeting to attend, and just preparing for this move that will happen in a little more than 100 days.
What does that mean?
I won’t be able to update this blog like I used to…
