With everything else, all things must come to an end. After ten years, I am closing the doors on lol, Japan. I’ve always been lost in the direction I wanted to go with this blog. From a wannabe random curiosity copycat started by a Junior in High School to some Kanjani8 fanwankery of a twenty-something year old college graduate, lol Japan has went through a lot of changes.
But the one thing that has never changed is the love for Japanese entertainment.
I want to encompass more than just pop culture and fandom ranting. So, in spirit, I’ve created re:Japan — a soap box where I can talk about everything Japan, not just the weird or wacky parts of it. The con reports won’t stop, the movie and drama reviews will still continue on, but I think with this rebranding the blog will have a little bit more meat to go with the sweets.
